The church started as a simple low-roofed nave (12th century) to which the North and South aisles were added in 1250. The clerestoy (the upper walls and windows) and the tower and a small chancel were added in the 14th century. The Nave was rebuilt in the 16th century, the church was restored and the front vestry, Lady Chapel and porch added, in the 1870's-80’s. |
